Are you a dynamic, results-driven professional with a strong background in the construction industry? We are currently seeking a Concrete Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects, providing leadership and technical expertise in the field of concrete construction. As a Concrete Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of commercial concrete construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Concrete Superintendent, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure of concrete construction projects.
2. Supervising and coordinating the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and staff.
3. Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
4. Preparing and submitting budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
5. Inspecting work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
6. Coordinating work activities with other construction project activities.
7. Ordering and managing materials and equipment.
8. Resolving work problems and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
9. Training and mentoring staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and excellence.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role within the concrete construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of concrete construction processes, equipment, materials, and safety protocols.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve project goals.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
6. Proficient in the use of construction management software and technology.
7. A strong understanding of construction laws and regulations.
8. Proven ability to manage budgets and control project costs.
9. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
