A bit about us:
A prominent national law firm is seeking a licensed Conflicts Attorney to join its Client Intake & Risk Management department. This is a hybrid role that can be based out of Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA, or Birmingham, AL, with 3 days onsite per week.
Reporting to the Director of Risk Management & Client Intake Services, this attorney will play a key role in the firm's conflict clearance operations, new business intake processes, and professional responsibility compliance, working closely with partners, associates, and staff across all offices.

Job Details
A prominent national law firm is seeking a licensed Conflicts Attorney to join its Client Intake & Risk Management department. This is a hybrid role that can be based out of Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA, or Birmingham, AL, with 3 days onsite per week.
Key Responsibilities
Clear lateral attorney conflicts and new matter/client conflicts firm-wide
Assist in supervision of conflicts, new client intake processes, and department personnel
Create, implement, and maintain ethical walls as needed
Serve as subject matter expert on Intapp Open, Intapp Terms, and other conflicts/intake technologies
Advise attorneys and staff on Rules of Professional Conduct as they relate to conflicts
Respond to partner conflict inquiries firm-wide across all seniority levels
Assist with drafting, reviewing, and coordinating engagement letters and conflict waiver letters
Review the daily new matter list; identify and circulate potential conflict or intake issues
Participate in Business Review Committee meetings and manage daily follow-up
Assist in training conflicts and intake staff, lateral attorneys, and other firm personnel
Track and build databases of firm-identified business conflicts and intake issues
Review outside counsel guidelines for conflicts and business issues
What They're Looking For
Licensed attorney with knowledge of Rules of Professional Conduct in states where the firm practices
2+ years of experience in a law firm (large or mid-size preferred) or prior conflicts/intake experience
Familiarity with large firm practices and operations
Experience with Intapp or similar conflicts management technology a strong plus
Sound judgment and discretion in evaluating and clearing conflicts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage heavy workload under pressure
Availability to respond to after-hours conflict emergencies when needed
Ability to travel on a limited basis
