Our technology company is seeking a full time Confocal Imaging Scientist to join our team. As a Confocal Imaging Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting imaging experiments and analyzing data to support our research and development efforts. You will work with a team of scientists and researchers to develop and optimize imaging protocols, generate high-quality images, and analyze data to provide insights into drug discovery and therapeutic development.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct imaging experiments using confocal microscopy to generate high-quality images of tumor tissue and other medical images
• Analyze imaging data to provide insights into drug discovery and therapeutic development
• Develop and optimize imaging protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and reliable results
• Work with a team of scientists and researchers to design and execute experiments to support drug discovery and therapeutic development efforts
• Use cell biology techniques, flow cytometry, and immunofluorescence to support imaging experiments and data analysis
• Collaborate with other teams within the company to integrate imaging data with other types of data to support drug discovery and therapeutic development efforts
• Present findings and results to internal and external stakeholders, including scientific conferences and publications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences)
• 2+ years of experience in imaging and data analysis, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting
• Experience with confocal microscopy and other imaging techniques, including cell biology, flow cytometry, and immunofluorescence
• Strong understanding of drug discovery and therapeutic development processes and how imaging data can support these efforts
• Experience with developing and optimizing imaging protocols and SOPs
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to present findings and results to internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
