We are seeking a talented and experienced Construction Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry. As a Construction Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and job costing. You will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and job costing
• Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and operations, to ensure that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and IFRS
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or job costing
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP, is a plus
