- Manage and process pay applications, change orders, and lien waivers.
- Conduct percentage of completion accounting and manage work in progress (WIP) schedules.
- Utilize accounting software such as Timberline, Sage, and Vista Viewpoint to track and report on project financials.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
- Coordinate with clients to process AIA documents and other financial paperwork.
- Review and analyze project costs and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards within the construction industry.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Construction Accounting Manager position will have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction accounting or a related role.
- Proficiency in construction accounting software such as Timberline, Sage, and Vista Viewpoint.
- Familiarity with pay applications, percentage of completion accounting, lien waivers, change orders, WIP schedules, and AIA documents.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze project costs and profitability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards within the construction industry.
