Job Details:
Our organization is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, playing a key role in all phases of our construction projects from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Assisting the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all phases of a construction project.
2. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to ensure project plans and timelines are feasible and cost-effective.
3. Monitoring and tracking project progress, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
4. Identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery.
5. Conducting regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
6. Preparing and presenting project updates and progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
7. Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring clear communication at all stages of the project.
8. Assisting with the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and optimal cost-efficiency.
9. Ensuring all project documentation is accurately maintained and up-to-date, including contracts, permits, plans, and specifications.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 1 year of experience in an Assistant Project Manager role or Project Engineer role with prior hands-on construction experience.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
4. Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
5. Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in using project management software and tools, like MS Project.
8. A solid understanding of construction safety regulations and quality standards.
9. The ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
10. A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
