As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be immersed in a variety of tasks, ensuring the smooth operation and successful completion of construction projects.
Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Project Manager in all aspects of the project from planning to implementation.
- Coordinating and managing project tasks and deliverables, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Working closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
- Preparing and presenting project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identifying potential project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant construction safety and building regulations.
- Managing relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in commercial, residential, and multifamily projects.
- Proven experience as a Field Engineer or Project Engineer.
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
- Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different project sites as needed.
