Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, cash management, and general ledger functions
  • Oversee month-end close and preparation of financial reporting packages
  • Ensure strong internal controls, financial accuracy, and compliance
  • Partner with executive leadership on reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Oversee payroll processing and vendor/payment workflows
  • Maintain accurate customer billing and receivables processes
  • Support audit preparation, compliance activities, and financial data integrity
  • Help improve accounting procedures, reporting processes, and operational efficiencies
  • Lead and mentor accounting staff while promoting accountability and team development

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of Controller or senior-level accounting leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls
  • Experience overseeing AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close
  • Construction, project-based, manufacturing, agriculture, or industrial industry experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • ERP/accounting systems experience preferred
