Job Details
We are seeking a Construction Defect Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing Jacksonville team.
Responsibilities:
Handle construction defect matters from inception through resolution
Develop litigation strategy and provide practical advice to clients
Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery
Take and defend depositions
Attend mediations, hearings, and client meetings
Collaborate with experienced litigators to deliver exceptional client service
Build strong relationships with clients while contributing to the continued growth of the practice
Qualifications:
3–5 years of construction defect litigation experience
Active Florida Bar license
J.D. from an accredited law school
Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
Ability to independently manage cases and deadlines
Preferred:
Experience representing developers, contractors, subcontractors, or insurance carriers
Deposition and mediation experience
Trial exposure
Responsibilities:
