Qualifications

- Collect and analyze all relevant project documents, including property plans, technical drawings, and specifications
- Conduct site visits to fully understand project requirements and potential challenges
- Determine appropriate human and material resources for each project
- Obtain and evaluate multiple quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Negotiate with service providers to secure favorable prices
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates and project timelines
- Perform risk assessments to account for potential deviations from the project plan
- Draft detailed proposals outlining materials, costs, and time frames
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate project specifications
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to maintain competitive estimates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in construction estimation or related fields
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in estimation software such as Timberline and HCSS HeavyBid
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
