- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and potential challenges
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare and present bid proposals to clients and stakeholders
- Monitor project costs and update estimates throughout the construction process
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on commercial, multifamily, and retail projects
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Timberline)
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
