Job Details
We are seeking an Estimator to join our team, focusing on commercial tenant improvement projects and life science laboratories.
Job Description;
* Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for commercial TI and laboratory projects
* Review construction documents, drawings, and specifications to provide accurate cost assessments
* Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients to ensure budgets and schedules are met
* Utilize Procore and other construction management software for estimating, tracking, and reporting
* Analyze subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing to align with project requirements
* Support preconstruction efforts by identifying cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction, preferably with tenant improvements and lab projects
* Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
* Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and other industry-standard software
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative project team
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
