We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Construction Estimator for our Hospitality division. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced team in the Accounting + Finance industry. The candidate will play a crucial role in estimating costs for hospitality construction projects, including remodels, renovations, and ground-up builds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, with a particular focus on hospitality settings such as hotels, resorts, and restaurants. The candidate should be proficient in Take Offs, blueprint reading, and using Bluebeam software. This role requires a bachelor's degree in construction management, business, engineering, or an equivalent field.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs for hospitality construction projects.
2. Review and interpret construction blueprints and architectural drawings.
3. Utilize Bluebeam software for blueprint reading and take-offs.
4. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to gather all necessary information to produce comprehensive and accurate estimates.
5. Evaluate and consider project-specific items, including labor costs, material quantities, equipment, and special construction methods.
6. Participate in pre-bid reviews and bid strategy sessions.
7. Assist in the negotiation of contracts and bid proposals.
8. Provide continuous updates of estimated costs as project design, scope, and specifications change.
9. Maintain a database of historical cost data for use in future estimates.
10. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in the construction industry, particularly in the hospitality sector.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Estimator, specifically in the hospitality sector.
2. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
3. Proficiency in Take Offs and blueprint reading.
4. Extensive experience with Bluebeam software.
5. In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
6. Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
10. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
11. Familiarity with construction industry standards, building laws, and regulations.
