Job Details

As a Construction Senior Estimator, you will:
  • Prepare preliminary budgets, estimates, and detailed estimates for projects of varying size and complexity
  • Analyze costs and prepare estimates
  • Establish and maintain tender processes, examine and analyze tenders, and recommend tender awards
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to prepare estimates on cost changes
  • Utilize estimating software and document management programs to create accurate and timely estimates
  • Provide estimating data for both conceptual and hard bid projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate and competitive bids

Qualifications; The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction estimating
  • Strong math, organizational, analytical, writing, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software such as Sage Timberline, On-center takeoff software, and Bluebeam
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Project, and Procore
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • OSHA certifications (preferred)
