Job description:
The ideal candidates will have previous experience in construction, be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven. Responsibilities:
Review and evaluate detailed cost estimates
Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products
Ensure timely completion of estimates
Understand scope of work to bid
Manage bid pricing from all vendors
Prepare cost analysis
Perform risk assessment
Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors

Experience:
Strong understanding of Concrete, Masonry, Carpentry, Metal Framing and Drywall Construction
3+ years’ estimating experience preferred but not required
Proficiency with, or quick ability to learn, estimating software, on-screen take-offs
Excellent communication and negotiating skills
Well-organized and reliable
Bachelors Degree in engineering, construction, or relevant field
