Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and mixed-use construction projects.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with project managers and design teams during the pre-construction phase.
  • Prepare detailed bid proposals and ensure timely submission.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
  • Participate in project handoff meetings to ensure a smooth transition to the project management team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience as an Estimator in commercial, industrial, or mixed-use construction.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Sage Estimating, Bluebeam).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Familiarity with local market conditions and pricing trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
