- Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and mixed-use construction projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project scope and requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Collaborate with project managers and design teams during the pre-construction phase.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and ensure timely submission.
- Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
- Participate in project handoff meetings to ensure a smooth transition to the project management team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience as an Estimator in commercial, industrial, or mixed-use construction.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Sage Estimating, Bluebeam).
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with local market conditions and pricing trends.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
