Roles & Responsibilities:
Desired Qualifications:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment based on project plans and specifications.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to develop competitive bids.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain pricing.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Present estimates to project teams and adjust as needed during planning.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of estimating experience in construction.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local construction costs and market trends in Michigan is a plus.
