Construction Estimator

As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in determining accurate project costs by analyzing construction plans, specifications, and related documents. Your expertise in cost estimation and knowledge of construction materials, labor, and equipment will help drive effective project planning and decision-making.

Responsibilities
Protect and promote the interests of Company and maintain confidentiality in all matters.
Develop and maintain long term relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
Constantly pursue continuing education and an understanding of market conditions and trends that may affect construction project costs.
Take lead role or support role in Lump Sum bids depending on assignment and experience level.
Attend pre-bid meetings and subcontractor site walk-throughs as may be applicable.
Receive, file, and distribute design documents to internal team members.
Setup the estimate, estimate schedule, and responsibility matrix. Lead the assembly of all estimate or bid documents required by and submitted to owner; coordinate requirements with CM Agreement.
Review design documents for completion; assemble comments and requests for additional information needed to provide complete estimates.
Review and confirm all previously approved document revisions into design documents; record and report all exceptions.
