Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Construction Litigation Attorney to join our Dallas office and represent clients in the full spectrum of construction disputes.
Job Description:
* Handle complex construction litigation matters including contract disputes, delay and scheduling claims, lien and bond claims, insurance coverage issues, and related commercial litigation.
* Represent contractors, developers, owners, and design professionals in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration and mediation forums.
* Draft and negotiate construction contracts and provide proactive counsel on risk management and project performance.
* Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial.
* Collaborate with experts, consultants, and project stakeholders to develop and execute case strategy.
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
* Active Texas Bar membership in good standing.
* 2+ years of construction litigation experience, preferably with exposure to both private and public projects.
* Strong knowledge of Texas lien laws, bond claims, and construction contract provisions.
* Proven courtroom and arbitration experience, with excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
* Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team.
