Job Details
We are seeking a talented Lateral Associate Attorney to join our Construction Litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-exposure cases with an experienced team serving a diverse client base in the construction and insurance industries.
Job Description:
* Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
* Defend builders, developers, contractors, and insurers in construction defect and related litigation matters
* Draft and review pleadings, briefs, and contracts with strong attention to detail
* Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients
* Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners in a team-oriented environment
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active Colorado Bar license (or ability to waive in)
* 3–10 years of civil litigation experience, with a preference for construction, general liability, or insurance defense
* Strong writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
* Client-focused approach with excellent communication skills
* Ability to meet annual billable requirement of 1,800 hours (150 hours per month)
