We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager for our Natural Gas projects. This role is integral to our operations, and we need someone with a strong background in construction management, pipeline, underground utilities, meters, and building codes. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring that all work is done safely, on schedule, and within budget. This is a permanent role that offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to play a key role in our company's growth and success.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Ensure compliance with all building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
3. Utilize Procore and Primavera software for project management, cost estimation, and scheduling.
4. Collaborate with Texas Gas Service and other utility providers to coordinate services and prevent gas leaks.
5. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all work is completed within financial constraints.
6. Prioritize safety by adhering to OSHA and HAZWOPER guidelines and implementing robust safety protocols.
7. Lead and manage project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
8. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and cost estimates.
9. Manage trench and pressure regulation to ensure the safety and integrity of our pipelines.
10. Continually evaluate project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely and successful completion.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction Management, specifically within the Natural Gas industry.
3. Proven experience with pipeline, underground utilities, and meters.
4. Extensive knowledge of building codes and regulations.
5. Proficiency in using Procore and Primavera for project management and scheduling.
6. Experience working with Texas Gas Service or similar utility providers.
7. Demonstrated ability to prevent gas leaks and manage safety protocols.
8. Strong budgeting skills and experience managing large project budgets.
9. Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
10. Strong knowledge of OSHA and HAZWOPER safety guidelines.
11. Ability to provide accurate cost estimates and manage project schedules.
12. Experience with trench and pressure regulation.
13. Excellent communication and project management skills.
14. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
15. Must be a problem solver, able to anticipate and mitigate risks before they become issues.
