We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Owner's Representative for Construction in the Tech Services industry. This role provides an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the construction process, acting as the primary point of contact between the owner and the rest of the project team. As the owner's eyes and ears on the project, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and cost effectiveness. You will be working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about what they do. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary liaison between the owner and the construction team, including architects, contractors, and engineers.
2. Oversee the entire construction process, from initial planning and design to final inspection and handover.
3. Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the owner's specifications.
4. Coordinate and manage all project documentation, including plans, permits, contracts, and invoices.
5. Resolve any issues or disputes that arise during the construction process, making sure to always protect the owner's interests.
6. Implement and maintain project management tools and software, such as Primavera P6, to track project schedules, costs, and resources.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in construction management or a similar role, preferably in the tech services industry.
3. Proficiency in project management software, particularly Primavera P6.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Detailed knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
7. Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
