Job Details

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Market Director to oversee and grow operations in the Sarasota region. This executive-level role is responsible for driving market strategy, land acquisition, sales performance, and operational execution. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of custom homebuilding, strong business acumen, and a leadership style that fosters collaboration and excellence.

This role reports directly to executive leadership and is supported by a fully developed local team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve growth, revenue, and profitability goals
  • Lead local brand positioning and sales generation in alignment with company vision
  • Collaborate with design, construction, and sales teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Identify and evaluate land acquisition and development opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, buyer behaviors, and regulatory changes
  • Represent the company at community events and within industry networks
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing local team
  • Report regularly on market performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in custom residential construction
  • Proven track record of driving business performance and operational excellence
  • Strong knowledge of homebuilding from concept to completion
  • Familiarity with zoning, permitting, and luxury market dynamics in Florida
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for design and market positioning
  • Florida contractor’s license preferred but not required
