Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise commercial construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the permitting process, ensuring all necessary permits and licenses are obtained for each project.
  • Review and analyze construction plans, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
  • Run and analyze reports to track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
  • Review permit plans to ensure they meet all regulatory requirements and project specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Lead and manage project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Solve problems and make decisions quickly and effectively, ensuring project continuity and success.
  • Ensure all work adheres to AIA and commercial standards and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in a project management or administrative role.
  • Proven experience managing commercial construction projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction permitting and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
  • Proficient in running and analyzing reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and manage teams.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively.
  • Familiarity with AIA and commercial construction standards and regulations.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
