Our company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Construction Project Coordinator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, including preconstruction, permitting, and commercial construction. They will also be responsible for coordinating with various teams, reviewing construction plans, running reports, and reviewing permit plans.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion.
2. Oversee preconstruction activities, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
3. Manage the permit application process, ensuring all necessary permits are obtained in a timely manner.
4. Review and interpret construction plans and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
5. Run and analyze reports to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
6. Review permit plans, ensuring they adhere to all relevant regulations and standards.
7. Foster effective and collaborative communication among team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
8. Demonstrate strong leadership skills, guiding the team towards successful project completion.
9. Utilize excellent time management skills to ensure projects are completed within the set timeline.
10. Solve problems effectively and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
11. Prepare and update project status reports and communicate them to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Coordinator or a similar role in the construction industry.
3. Demonstrated experience with preconstruction, commercial construction, and permitting.
4. Proficiency in reading and understanding construction plans.
5. Strong ability to run and interpret reports.
6. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Proven team leadership abilities.
8. Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
10. Familiarity with AIA contract documents is preferred.
11. Proficient in the use of project management software and tools.
12. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to different project sites as needed.
