We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager with a specialty in multifamily projects to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from initial planning and budgeting to project completion. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on exciting, high-profile multifamily construction projects. If you have a passion for construction, an eye for detail, and a proven track record in managing multifamily projects, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of multifamily construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Manage the construction process, including the selection of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
4. Supervise construction teams, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
5. Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and inspection reports.
6. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications.
7. Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the construction process.
8. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
9. Evaluate and manage project risk, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on multifamily projects.
3. Proven experience managing ground-up multifamily, apartments, mixed-use, podium, units, PT deck, post-tension, and post-tension projects.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
9. Proficiency in construction software, including project management, scheduling, and cost estimation tools.
10. Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is an asset.
