We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about overseeing construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising construction projects from development to completion.
Responsibilities
As a Construction Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and managing all project delivery elements.
2. Developing and managing a detailed project schedule and work plan.
3. Conducting site inspections to ensure conformance with design specifications and building codes.
4. Managing contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
5. Utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
6. Monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
8. Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
9. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
10. Providing internal reporting and projections for inventory.
11. Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, and local and state regulations are met.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience in construction project management.
3. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
4. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
5. Understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
6. Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
7. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
8. Excellent time and project management skills.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
11. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
12. Demonstrated leadership skills.
