Responsibilities:
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks including but not limited to:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, from pre-construction planning to completion.
2. Developing and managing detailed project schedules and work plans.
3. Reviewing and coordinating submittals from contractors and suppliers.
4. Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
5. Managing project budgets, including the procurement of materials and services.
6. Ensuring all projects comply with safety and building regulations.
7. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality.
8. Resolving any problems or issues that arise during construction.
9. Reporting regularly on project status to stakeholders.
10. Striving for continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for streamlining processes and increasing efficiency.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Construction Project Manager position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in construction project management.
2. Proven experience in reviewing and coordinating submittals.
3. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in construction management software.
9. A commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
10. Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent is preferred.
