Your Key Tasks:
As a Construction Project Manager, your responsibilities are vast and impactful:
Strategic Partnership: Support the Marketing team in new project and program pursuits through strategy, scheduling, and technical expertise. Your input will help drive our growth.
Bid Process Excellence: Assist the construction pursuit team in the bid process by soliciting trade contractors, estimating general conditions, and refining schedules. You'll be at the forefront of securing new projects.
Master of Scheduling: Develop, implement, and execute project schedules, ensuring projects stay on track.
Labor Management: Forecast and manage project labor requirements, making sure we have the right people in the right place at the right time.
Quality Assurance: Monitor project compliance with plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Your onsite presence will be essential.
Contract Management: Efficiently develop subcontracts, purchase orders, and statements of work. You'll also negotiate and manage contractual agreements.
Team Support: Provide support to field personnel through collaboration with clients and subcontractors. Your expertise will be a valuable resource.
Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate billing and weekly progress reports. You'll keep the executive team informed.
Cost Management: Receive and review job cost reports and develop monthly EAC reports to keep projects on budget.
Safety First: Prioritize safety by supporting the mission and maintaining a strong safety record.
Project Planning: Play a vital role in the pre-construction effort, helping to develop project work plans.
Leadership: Demonstrate leadership both with the client and within the team. You'll be a guiding force.
Financial Insight: Actively participate in financial reporting and forecasting, helping to ensure project success.
Company Ambassador: Represent the brand with pride and professionalism.
What You Bring:
Education & Experience: You have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management, backed by over ten years of construction management experience, including at least seven years as a Construction Project Manager. Your track record includes successful projects ranging from $1M to $15M+.
Federal Experience: Experience with federal projects and task orders, particularly in Defense and/or Civilian Agency contexts, is a strong plus.
Certifications: You hold OSHA 10, OSHA 30 certifications, and have completed the ARC First Responder Course. A USACE Certified Quality Manager certification is preferred.
Technical Proficiency: You're proficient with industry-standard software such as ProCore, MS Office, Excel, Word, MS Project, and Outlook. Timberline experience is highly desired.
Safety Commitment: You have a strong commitment to safety and a proven safety record.
Physical Fitness: You're physically fit, capable of conducting project inspections, climbing ladders, and meeting the demands of construction site assessments.
Travel Ready: You're willing and able to travel throughout operational regions as needed.
