We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Construction Site Superintendent in the Energy industry. This role is pivotal in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction, planning, design execution, resource allocation, and problem-solving. Responsibilities:

Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
Review and interpret project blueprints, plans, and other specifications.
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their duties and deliver on their responsibilities.
Meet contractual conditions of performance, providing regular updates to senior management on the progress of projects.
Review work progress on a daily basis, identifying any issues and implementing effective solutions.
Ensure all safety guidelines and regulations are adhered to at all times, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists, fostering a cooperative environment.
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones, using excellent problem-solving skills to navigate any challenges.
Allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal use of materials, machinery, and labor.
Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain necessary permits and licenses.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction supervisory role, preferably within the energy sector.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in project management and supervision, with a strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
Excellent knowledge of construction details and quality standards.
Proficient in construction software programs.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong decision-making capability.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
Demonstrated understanding of construction laws and practices.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A strong commitment to safety and knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes in work priorities.
