Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, applicable building and industry codes);
Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills required;
Willingness to attend safety meetings and receive required training on employee’s own time;
Ability to work well with others, particularly subcontractors, and suppliers, in order to direct the completion of required work in both an accurate and timely manner;
Ability to establish procedures and standards for completion of the work, and ability to work rapidly and accurately with tools and equipment when required;
Have a working knowledge of computers and software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, P-6 Scheduling;
Ability to resolve conflicts with employees, subcontractors, suppliers, design professionals, and owners; and
Understand the EPA / SWPPP requirements for the jobsite making sure they are met and maintained.
