Seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee new home construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards, safety protocols, SWPPP, quality benchmarks, and budgetary plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement health and safety programs and SWPPP, conducting safety inspections and addressing hazards.
- Conduct monthly toolbox talks with trade partners on safety matters.
- Interface with customers, handling warranty follow-up for 30 to 365 days.
- Resolve discrepancies, substitute products, and adjust plans within Company standards.
- Assess budget variances and adjust accordingly.
- Evaluate construction progress, schedule adherence, and project completion criteria.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permitting requirements.
- Manage and evaluate trade partner performance, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with trade partners to enhance construction quality and efficiency.
- Make recommendations for process improvement to upper management.
- Interface with sales personnel for neighborhood and customer activities.
- Resolve issues related to daily construction activities, including vendor contracts and job progress.
- Authorize payment for materials and completed work, with authority to approve payment to the Superintendent's satisfaction.
- Estimate and authorize material purchases.
- Manage time deadlines to ensure timely and error-free home construction.
Management and Leadership:
- Delegate work based on employee skills.
- Provide input into performance evaluations.
- Identify internal and external training opportunities.
- Offer continuous coaching on functional and leadership standards.
- Set high standards consistent with company values.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and Health & Safety Policies.
- Fulfill other duties within the job's scope, spirit, and purpose, as requested by upper management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 10-hour OSHA certification required; 30-hour OSHA certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years in residential construction; 6 months to 1 year at Assistant Superintendent level required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Management, team-building, and people skills.
- Track record of vendor collaboration and coaching.
- Knowledge of building codes, municipal codes, permitting, and construction management software.
- Ability to read blueprints and communicate effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
