Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Construction Superintendent, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all aspects of the construction process, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
2. Ensuring that all construction activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
3. Coordinating and supervising the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members.
4. Regularly inspecting construction sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications.
5. Developing and implementing site-specific Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP).
6. Resolving any on-site issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
7. Preparing and submitting regular project reports to management and clients.
8. Conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring all site personnel are adhering to safety protocols.
9. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Consulting Construction Superintendent role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial construction, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects.
2. Strong knowledge and understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
3. Experience in developing and implementing SWPPP.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
7. Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
8. Certifications in construction safety and other relevant areas are a plus.
