Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of the construction process, including project planning, budgeting, and implementation.
2. Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within the scope and budget.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their duties and deliver on expectations.
4. Review work progress daily and address any issues that arise.
5. Act as the point of contact for architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaborative relationships.
6. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
7. Implement comprehensive safety procedures and ensure adherence to maintain a safe work environment.
8. Resolve any problems that may arise and ensure the project continues to move forward.
9. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status and progress.
10. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.

Qualifications:
1. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS FBI BACKGROUND CHECK.
2. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role.
3. Proven experience in courthouse, justice centers, municipal courts, federal buildings, and county court building construction projects.
4. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
5. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
6. Excellent knowledge of construction software programs.
7. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
8. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
9. Ability to lead and inspire a team.
10. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
11. Valid certification in construction safety and a valid driver's license.
