We are seeking an experienced Permanent Construction Traveling Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for construction, a knack for project management, and an eye for detail. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of construction projects, including demolition, emergency disaster response, waste management, specialty transportation, and industrial demolition. This is a traveling position, meaning you will have the opportunity to work on projects across the country, making each day a new and exciting challenge.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Construction Traveling Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
2. Coordinating and supervising a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
3. Implementing and maintaining safety and environmental protocols on job sites.
4. Managing project scheduling to ensure timely completion of tasks.
5. Handling pay applications, lien waivers, and other financial aspects of the project.
6. Leading emergency disaster response efforts and coordinating remediation construction.
7. Overseeing waste management and specialty transportation needs.
8. Conducting regular site inspections to ensure project is progressing as planned and adhering to quality standards.
9. Fostering strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
10. Reporting project status to senior management and making necessary adjustments to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Construction Traveling Project Manager position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on project management.
2. Proven experience in demolition, emergency disaster response, waste management, specialty transportation, and industrial demolition.
3. Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing circumstances.
8. Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
9. Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations.
10. Willingness to travel regularly for project assignments.
