Job Details

Our manufacturing company is seeking a Contract Consultant with experience as an Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our team. This is a temporary position with the potential for a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in AP and AR. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work closely with our accounting team to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire accounts payable and receivable process, including vendor invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
  • Ensure that all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Manage the aging report and follow up with customers to ensure timely payment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and procedures.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure that all financial reports are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Provide support to the accounting team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in AP and AR.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus.
