We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technician to join our dynamic team in the healthcare industry. The chosen candidate will be responsible for operating cutting-edge radiology equipment to capture diagnostic imaging studies for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in X-ray technology to work in a fast-paced environment where patient care is paramount.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain radiology equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
2. Work closely with radiologists and other physicians to determine the most appropriate imaging techniques.
3. Prepare patients for radiology procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
4. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to protect patients and staff.
5. Analyze images to ensure their clarity and accuracy, identifying any issues that may need further attention.
6. Maintain accurate patient records, including details of the procedure, the images taken, and any observations or concerns.
7. Stay up-to-date with advances in radiology technology and techniques, participating in professional development activities as necessary.
8. Assist in the management of the radiology department, including scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining supplies and equipment.
9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiology Technician or in a similar role.
2. Demonstrated proficiency in operating various radiology equipment, especially X-ray technology.
3. Strong knowledge of radiology safety procedures and best practices.
4. Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to explain complex procedures and put patients at ease.
5. Ability to analyze and interpret radiology images accurately.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
8. A degree in radiology technology from an accredited institution.
9. Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
