Job Details

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing with the state bar.

Additional qualifications include:

Minimum of 1-10 years of experience in creditor rights and consumer law.
Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA
CFPB’s Amendments to Reg F
Debt collection practices in federal and Texas courts
Writs of Sequestration
Defending creditors in consumer bankruptcy
Tenant Estoppels
Home Equity Mortgages and Home Equity Lines of Credit
Business Lending for financial institutions
Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
Consumer law
Telephone Consumer Practices Act (TCPA)
