We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer with a strong background in industrial and manufacturing engineering to lead transformative process initiatives across design, manufacturing, logistics, and construction functions. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional eager to shape the future of modular building through innovation and operational excellence.
Our organization is pioneering a disruptive approach to construction by integrating design, manufacturing, and assembly into a unified process known as Design Manufacture Construct (DMC). By modularizing construction, we deliver higher-quality buildings that are completed faster and more efficiently than traditional methods. As we expand this model from factory floor to job site, we are looking for an engineer who can drive process standardization, optimize workflows, and support scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development, integration, and implementation of new processes and workflows across all operations
Assess current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and execute initiatives to achieve future-state performance goals
Facilitate root cause analysis, value stream mapping, and cross-functional continuous improvement activities
Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) organization-wide
Ensure quality and consistency of processes through standardized methodologies and controls
Build and present business case justifications for improvement initiatives across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale (SQDCM) metrics
Conduct process trials and clearly document changes, including impact assessments and rationale
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
5–10+ years of experience in manufacturing environments, including at least 5 years in process improvement roles
Preferred Competencies:
Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities effectively
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and root cause identification
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Atlassian Jira is a plus
Familiarity with structured problem-solving frameworks such as Toyota Production System (TPS) 8-Step, DMAIC, or similar methodologies
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
Additional Information:
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible or extended hours may be required based on business needs)
Travel: Less than 10%
