We are an industry-leading manufacturing company seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Continuous Improvement Manager. This pivotal role will drive our ongoing commitment to excellence and efficiency, leading the way in implementing continuous improvement strategies across our operations. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in manufacturing, a passion for improvement, and a thorough understanding of Lean methodologies.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Continuous Improvement Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and managing continuous improvement projects across the organization to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and productivity.
2. Implementing Lean methodologies such as Kaizen, 6S, and 8D across all manufacturing processes.
3. Utilizing Black Belt level skills to drive process improvement, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
4. Conducting regular Root Cause Analysis to identify areas of improvement and develop effective solutions.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement change initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
6. Training and mentoring staff on continuous improvement techniques and tools, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
7. Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of implemented improvements, making necessary adjustments to optimize results.
8. Staying abreast of industry trends and advancements in continuous improvement methodologies, sharing knowledge with the team to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the role of Permanent Continuous Improvement Manager will have:
1. A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in managing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Strong knowledge and application of Lean methodologies including Kaizen, 6S, and 8D.
4. Black Belt certification or equivalent experience.
5. Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and Process Improvement techniques.
6. Exceptional project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage team members at all levels.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
9. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
