Contract Law / Debt Collection Attorney

Law firm helping consumers and businesses resolve outstanding financial obligations assigned to our firm for collection. Our primary focus is civil litigation, breach of contract claims, debt collection, and judgment enforcement.

We are ramping up for an all-time record volume of cases from national banks with a strong focus on contract disputes in Georgia.

This role may involve attending hearings involving creditor/debtor matters, including calendar calls, mediations, and trials. Ideal candidate should have experience in court with emphasis on civil procedure and contract disputes.

Responsibilities

• Review evidence relating to contract disputes and approve filings
• Attend hearings in relation to civil cases for breach of contract
• Update system of record for accurate status of case outcomes
• Attend hearings relating to contract disputes between banking organizations and their consumer base
• Work with support staff to improve process and create workflow efficiency in a high volume environment.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in Georgia
• Ability to manage a high caseload by understanding case management systems
• Willing to travel to GA courts on an as-needed basis
• Clean background
