This is a hybrid position, combining both onsite and remote work, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The Accounting Payable Analyst will play a key role in maintaining our financial health and making sure we are on track towards our financial goals.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be the backbone of our financial operations. You will be responsible for:
1. Processing and managing company invoices and accounts payable.
2. Performing account reconciliations, ensuring accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
3. Reviewing payable documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
4. Assisting in the preparation of billing statements and reports.
5. Coordinating with other departments to resolve account discrepancies.
6. Implementing process improvements to streamline the accounts payable process.
7. Utilizing Microsoft Excel to manage, analyze, and present data.
8. Ensuring timely payments of company debts.
9. Assisting with audits and providing recommendations for improving procedures.
10. Maintaining accurate and complete financial, employee, and client records.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, analytical problem-solver with a knack for numbers and a passion for financial accuracy. Below are the qualifications we are looking for:
1. A minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3. Proven experience with account reconciliation, billing, and Excel.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable.
5. Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data for discrepancies and inaccuracies.
7. Ability to handle confidential information.
8. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.
9. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
10. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
11. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
