Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Contracts Administrator to join our finance team. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to apply their skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of contract administration, including drafting contracts, developing standard terms and conditions, and managing the contract lifecycle. This role also involves document redlining, manufacturing estimating, and cost estimates. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry and a proven track record in contract administration.
Responsibilities:
1. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, ensuring they meet the company's requirements under its policies and risk tolerance.
2. Develop and implement standard terms and conditions for contracts.
3. Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting and negotiation through to execution, amendments, and termination.
4. Handle document redlines and revisions, ensuring all changes are accurately tracked and implemented.
5. Conduct manufacturing estimating and cost estimates, providing accurate and timely information to support decision-making processes.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and legal, to ensure contracts are effectively managed and all parties are aligned.
7. Identify and mitigate potential contractual and commercial risks.
8. Maintain a comprehensive contracts database and ensure all contract documentation is accurately filed and easily accessible.
9. Keep abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends, adjusting contract terms and processes as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in the finance industry.
3. Proven experience in contract drafting, contract lifecycle management, document redlines, manufacturing estimating, and cost estimates.
4. Strong understanding of the manufacturing industry and its contractual needs.
5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of management.
6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
8. Solid understanding of business and financial principles.
9. High ethical standards and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
10. Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions.
11. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
