We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contracts Specialist to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Contracts Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution and management of contracts within our organization. Responsibilities:
1. Contract Drafting: Prepare, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including but not limited to standard terms and conditions, professional services agreements, and vendor agreements. Ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
2. Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation to termination, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and risks are minimized. Develop and maintain a contract repository for easy access and tracking.
3. Document Redlines: Analyze and compare contract terms, identifying potential risks and proposing necessary changes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and legal teams to resolve any discrepancies and ensure contract accuracy.
4. CDAs and SOWs: Draft and review confidentiality agreements (CDAs) and statements of work (SOWs) to protect company interests and outline project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
5. Salesforce and SharePoint: Utilize contract management systems such as Salesforce and SharePoint to track and manage contracts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to all relevant parties.
6. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, including FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and ensure contracts adhere to these standards.
7. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
8. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and liabilities associated with contracts and propose risk mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.
9. Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract management processes, best practices, and legal requirements.

Qualifications:
1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Contracts Specialist, Paralegal, or similar role within the engineering industry or a related field.
2. Contract Drafting: Strong experience in drafting contracts, including standard terms and conditions, professional services agreements, and vendor agreements. Ability to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
3. Contract Lifecycle Management: Proven track record in managing the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation to termination. Familiarity with contract repository management and document tracking systems.
4. Document Review: Proficiency in reviewing and analyzing contract terms and conditions, identifying potential risks, and proposing necessary changes. Experience with document redlining and collaborating with legal teams.
5. CDAs and SOWs: Familiarity with drafting and reviewing confidentiality agreements (CDAs) and statements of work (SOWs) to protect company interests and outline project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
6. Contract Management Systems: Experience with contract management systems such as Salesforce and SharePoint, ensuring accurate and up-to-date contract information is readily available.
