This is a permanent position within our Engineering department and offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and a team of highly skilled professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and start-up of control systems. This position requires a minimum of 25% travel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and start-up of control systems. This position requires a minimum of 25% travel.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain control systems to meet client requirements and ensure system reliability.
- Program PLCs using Rockwell and Siemens software, adhering to best practices and safety standards.
- Lead the start-up of control systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful project completion.
- Conduct system commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization to enhance system performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, manuals, and user guides.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure optimal system use.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure innovative and efficient system design and implementation.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering, specifically with start-up and commissioning of control systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, specifically with Rockwell and Siemens platforms.
- Strong understanding of control system design and implementation, including hardware and software components.
- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to client sites for system start-up and commissioning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure high-quality system design and implementation.
- Current knowledge of industry trends and advancements in control systems technology.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions based on sound engineering principles.
