Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Controller to join our team at a leading hospital in Sugar Land. As the Controller, you will report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role in the financial management and decision-making process. This position offers a unique opportunity to be a part of the Senior Leadership team and contribute to the overall success of the hospital.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures.
Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and Senior Leadership team.
Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor financial performance metrics.
Manage and mentor a team of professionals, including an Accounting Manager and Purchasing Coordinator.
Conduct patient rounds to gain a comprehensive understanding of operational challenges and opportunities.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role within a hospital setting is mandatory.
Exceptional financial acumen and knowledge of healthcare finance.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to handle complex financial analysis.
CPA certification is desirable but not mandatory.
