Financial Reporting & Control
- Oversee all financial reporting functions (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Prepare and analyze financial reporting packages; present findings to leadership
- Manage account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records
- Develop and maintain operating budgets and forecasts
Risk Management & Compliance
- Monitor and advise on financial risk and compliance matters
- Create and implement internal financial policies and procedures
Leadership & Strategy
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and decision-making
- Build and manage a finance and accounting team
- Lead the adoption of process improvements, including financial technology and AI integration
- Foster strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Strong background in the construction industry
- Demonstrated leadership experience in growing and managing teams
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office
- Self-driven, highly organized, and excellent communicator
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification
- Experience with systems such as Sage 100 Contractor, Sage Paperless, and Trimble/Viewpoint Vista
