What You’ll Be Doing
What We’re Looking For
- Accounting Leadership – Oversee the day-to-day operations of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general accounting.
- Financial Reporting – Finalize month-end close, financial statements, and management reporting in compliance with GAAP and company policy.
- Internal Controls – Design and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards.
- Team Supervision – Manage and develop accounting staff, including supervisors and staff accountants; conduct performance reviews, coach for growth, and resolve personnel matters.
- Audit & Tax Management – Lead the annual financial audit, inventory observations, and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Risk & Cash Management – Create and manage bank transfers/wires and oversee treasury responsibilities across accounts.
- Process Optimization – Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and introduce new tools for efficiency.
- Compliance & Policy – Develop, communicate, and train the team on accounting policies and ensure consistent application.
- Strategic Support – Investigate unusual transactions and present findings to stakeholders for action.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA required.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership.
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience managing audits, preparing for tax filings, and overseeing treasury operations.
- A strong leader who values mentorship, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in entertainment, media, or technology services is a plus.
