Our client is seeking a Corporate Controller to oversee accounting operations across a growing multi-entity organization. This highly visible role will partner closely with ownership and operational leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, improve processes, and support continued growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building scalable financial processes.

- Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, cash management, and financial reporting across multiple entities.
- Lead weekly and monthly close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
- Prepare, review, and analyze P&Ls, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting procedures.
- Ensure invoices are accurately coded, processed, and reconciled in partnership with operational teams.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions.
- Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives.
- Optimize accounting systems and financial processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Support new business locations or operational expansions by implementing accounting processes and controls.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to support future growth.
- Assist in building and developing the accounting team as the organization expands.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA designation.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within multi-entity or multi-location organizations.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Experience with Sage Intacct and QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Preferred
- Experience within hospitality, restaurant, hotel, retail, or other inventory-based industries.
- Experience with inventory accounting and cost controls.
- Familiarity with operational and accounting platforms such as Toast, Craftable, or similar systems.
- Experience supporting business growth, acquisitions, or new location openings.
