Controller (Hybrid)

Based in Houston, TX we are a family office that focuses on investing in three primary areas: 1) acquiring and operating small-to-mid size businesses 2) investing in owner occupied real estate and 3) private and public investments. We currently own and operate four businesses in the industrial manufacturing and services industries. We also own a diverse real estate portfolio of industrial properties located in Texas and surrounding states. Our investments consist of public and private invests across a diverse range of industries and businesses.

Is your background a fit? Apply if you meet this criteria:

• BS Accounting or Finance degree
• 10+ years of related accounting and financial reporting experience
• Significant experience coordinating and overseeing tax returns
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel skills
• ERP Systems

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in a multi-entity environment
• Independent, self-starter who thrives on a small team and less structured environment
• Strong attention to detail, hardworking, trust-worthy
• CPA or CMA certification
